It's been an absolute pleasure to share my zany story with the world. Thanks to everyone who gave it a shot. And to those amazing folks who made constructive suggestions or shared their opinions in a review, I humbly appreciate your generous comments. With a focus on amplifying the book's clarity & flow but preserving its erratic style of fun, I reedited Holiday Hospice. This overhauled version addresses various criticisms & trials several experimental features:
🐐Pandora the Goat now graces the cover. "Nothing bad better happen to that goat!"
🦉Reduced redundancy when indicating actors. "Generally speaking, 'he' would work fine instead of repeating his full name so much."
🧠Telepathy better distinguished from verbal conversation or narration. "You could try italics or single quotation marks."
🙈Rectified hundreds of typos, consistency flaws & grammatical errors. Undoubtedly, many yet remain.
🩼Tackled crutch words: about, great, just, like, more, near, other, some & that.
💸Invested in dozens of ten-dollar words: burglar, claustrophobic, discombobulated, exhumed, nucleus, obliviate, ribald & shebang.
🌈Replaced plain red/yellow/blues with fancier colors.
✂ Chopped up run on sentences (decreasing semicolons along the way).
⚓Revised the duller chapter titles.
💬Wrangled onomatopoeia into submission.
